What are the associated costs of a Videoconference?

The following highlight the various elements associated with setting up a videoconference and typical costs:

  Booking fee
The BizXchange charges £30 to arrange a conference between facilities within the UK or US$ 60 between facilities within USA, £50 (US$ 100) between international facilities and £70 (US$ 140) for multiple locations. The BizXchange does not charge a booking fee in instances where a private site has booked to connect point-to-point to one of our fully automated facilities.
  Videoconference facility rental fee(s)
The facility charges will vary dependent on whether a call is made during or outside normal hours; the hourly rate may be anything from £80 to £250 (approx. us$150 to us$400). Prices will also vary from facility to facility.  The general booking terms are a minimum of 1 hour and then facilities are charged at 15 minute increments thereafter.
  Network call charges (ISDN or broadband IP)
ISDN call charges will increase directly in relation to the number of channels used to establish the connections and from where those calls are made from and to...
e.g. BT ISDN rate - UK national call will be approximately £10 per hour for a 128kbps (2xB channels); 256kbps would be £20/hr; 384kbps would be £30/hour; 512kbps would be £40/hour
  Occasionally a public facility may charge for carrying out a set-up to test the links between sites
Generally test calls are included within the facility rental, however, whilst it is discouraged some facilities may charge up to £90 per site
  If a video bridge is required, then this will attract additional charges
Once again the call charges will varying and will be in direct relation to the number of ports and where the locations are connected if dialling out. Please contact us for a specific multi-point bridge quotation.
  Additional services as requested (not included within facility rental)
Most facilities provide either VHS and/or DVD players and this is included within the fee. However, some may charge extra for recording your conference to video cassette or to CD/DVD ROM, like wise use of scan converters and catering will generally not be included.
